A: Scentsy Candle bars will last an estimated 50 - 80 hours. Warm time will vary depending on the strength of the fragrance and your own personal preferance. Open Windows, humidifiers, and house fans may alter the enjoyment of our products.
A: Scentsy Deluxe warmers use a 25 watt Bulb, and Scentsy Plug in warmers use a 15 watt Bulb. A bulb is included with every warmer purchase. Because of their popularity, replacement bulbs can difficult to find in stores. Your Scentsy Consultant can always assist you in finding replacement bulbs for your Scentsy Warmers or you can order replacement bulbs through my site. Just click "Go Shopping".
A: Of course, but I wouldn't recommend it. Scentsy's warmers are made specifically for the Scentsy wax, they are set to reach a perfect temperature, they get just warm enough to release the scent into the air without actually burning the wax and releasing any of the chemicals with it. This is one reason Scentsy Warmers and Scentsy Bars are much safer then regular Candles.
A: Many customers have asked about the wax we use and why. Here is the scoop. We use a food-grade petroleum based wax. We chose this wax because of its superior scent loading ability, melt point and firmness. We looked into vegetable based waxes, and we just couldn’t get a quality candle bar.
Note: The type of wax we use is a non-issue, with regard to the chemicals released while burning. We only warm the scent out of the wax – the wax remains in the warmer, thus there is no danger of soot or lead being released into the home or office.
Q: What is food grade petroleum wax?
A: Scentsy’s food grade petroleum wax is the same wax they spray on apples in the grocery stores, to give them their shine.
Q: How hot does the wax get? A: The wax temperature is very low, just above body temperature. Because we use a low watt light bulb the wax is kept at a perfect temperature allowing it to get only warm enough to release the scent into the air. This is one reason Scentsy Warmers and Scentsy bars are much safer than regular candles.
Q: What type of oil does Scentsy use in their candles?
A: Scentsy uses key fragrance oil which is the highest grade of oil before processing.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping is FREE on any qualifying party order of $150 or more. Direct ship orders to individual customers will incur a minimal 10% shipping fee. Shipping outside the lower 48 states is an additional 10%.
Q: How long until delivery?
A: Approximately 2 to 3 weeks from when the Scentsy Party closes and the order is placed.
Q: What type of payment is accepted? A: We accept cash, check, VISA, MC, AMEX, and Discover. Checks should be made out to the Consultant, NOT Scentsy.
Q: Does Scentsy ship to APOs and FPOs? A: Presently, Scentsy does not ship to APOs or FPOs, because UPS does not deliver to these addresses. However, if you need to ship to an APO or FPO please contact me directly. I would be happy to make other shipping arrangements so that you can enjoy our Scentsational Products! -
